Description of Service
VidStudio is a browser-based video processing tool that allows users to resize, crop, compress, and perform other video editing operations. All processing occurs locally in your web browser using WebAssembly technology.
Use License
VidStudio grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal and commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.
You may not:
- Attempt to reverse engineer or extract the source code of the Service
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- Use automated systems or software to extract data from the Service
User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Ensuring you have the right to process any video content you use with the Service
- Complying with all applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws
- Not using the Service to process illegal, harmful, or offensive content
- Maintaining adequate backups of your original files
Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, features, and underlying technology, is owned by VidStudio and protected by intellectual property laws. Your use of the Service does not grant you ownership of any intellectual property rights in the Service.
You retain all rights to any video content you process using the Service. VidStudio does not claim any ownership over your content.
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Video processing results may vary depending on your device, browser, and the source material.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VIDSTUDIO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:
- Your use or inability to use the Service
- Any errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies in the Service
- Loss or corruption of your video files or data
- Any unauthorized access to or use of our systems
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VidStudio and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
